prob with mplayer GUI


hey, iam just a fledgeling to slack but i already have begun to admire it.i got stuck up with on e thing.i downloaded mplayer from mplayerHQ.hu. i have installed every thing alright.the problem is i dont know how to install the GUI.i have played around abit but of no avail.so..can any 1 suggest me how to install the GUI?.thanx in advance...

When you compile mplayer you needed to do this: ./configure --enable-gui
and then extract the skin you want to /usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin or ~/.mplayer/Skin ; whichever you specified, by default its the first one, only the second one if you changed it. Then when you want to start mplayer you type gmplayer. Hope this helps.
