Do you know if your ISP throttles bittorrent traffic? This could be why your torrents are so slow. The Slackware torrents downloaded very fast for me here in Philly via my Comcast connection.
Thanks tommcd Fairly sure they don't. CDs 1 and 2 downloaded quickly. As of 2 days ago when we last had Internet connection outside working hours, the DVD was downloading quickly. It was only CD6 that was slow.

For installing Slackware from the 6 CD set you actually only need the first 3 CDs to do a full install of Slackware.CDs 3-6 include mostly source code, /extra and usb installers and stuff: http://slackware.com/getslack/torrents.php
If your internet bandwidth is limited, don't bother with CDs 3-6 unless you really need the source code.
BTW, I am still seeding the Slackware CDs! There is now more people downloading them it seems. Or there may be fewer seeders, or whatever.
I suspect that relatively fewer people download, and therefore seed, the CDs 4-6, since they are probably not needed by most people. That would explain the relative slowness of the torrent for CD 6.

I'm installing on a netbook without a CD/DVD drive so need the tools on CD 6 to create a USB stick, bootable and with Slackware installation files. Right now, for CD 6 there are 20 seeds and 12 peers so it's zipping down
Are the slackware iso available using metalinks? This will help to distribute the iso rapidly and efficiently. aria2c can download a single file using multiple http/ftp/torrent/magnet sources.
