PC seems to hang after shutdown.

hi everyone.

when i CRTL+ALT+DEL my pc (reboot ) i'll switch to runlevel 0 after killing my samba deamons and it says:
"INIT 0: no processes left in this runlevel" and halts. there it ends. shouldn't it reboot? it usually should, but i read something about the apm-bios enabled halt. can there be other reasons for that behavior?

runlevel 6 is reboot, runlevel 0 is shutdown
P.S. Oooops, sorry wrong forum - slackware is BSD init'ed, not SysV. It is all the way around 0 is halt and 6 is reboot, let's see....
Ignore Ooops, and BSD vs SysV - they are both still using 0 and 6 for halt and reboot respectively
Good night.

Read this http://www.slackware.com/config/init.php simple enough
Quote:
rc.0 Halt the system (runlevel 0). By default, this is symlinked to rc.6.
P.S. Uh-oh, time to sleep I repeated the same things inmy previous post. So check if the symlink is gone, so in this case you are halting the system if you issue init 0
