Sometimes I have an "Other" menu item in xfce, sometime I don't, I have not been playing with the menu configuration as it is borked enough without me having a go at it. Has anyone else seen this behaviour, or knows what causes it?
PS1. I just posted this cause its sort of relevant but i doubt it will help you.
PS2. I havent seen anything like that myself but i rarely visit the menu and most of the apps i have installed dont come with .desktop files.
Thanks sahko. It is just an annoying intermittent fault, which I can get around, but I would rather it was fixed. Perhaps in the words of the XFCE faithful "maybe in XFCE 4.8".
