No fonts(?) after installing Gnome 3.2 Slackbuild in 13.37

Hi.
Just installed Gnome Slackbuild as pointed out at their site. The install went fine, changed to Gnome with "xwmconfig", but their are no fonts. Only rectangular boxes all over the place...I am posting this through fluxbox...

What is screwed?

I'm having the same problem. My assumption is that it's a recent update because I've been searching for the last half hour or so and not found anything else. FWIW, I have a clean Slackware 13.37 x64 install with a clean "simple install" of GSB.

Any help is very much appreciated!

After lots more research (and similar problems with GNOME I found elsewhere), I rebooted the system. I ran

Code:

xfs restart

but as it only returned usage, I don't know whether that had any effect. It does work now, though.
