Newb question


I didn't check this out too throughly but do you need a floppy disk drive to install SlackWare? or can I do it from the first 2 cds? Thanks

If your computer will boot from CD you don't need bootdisks

Though I prefer the real thing, that will probably not seem like an upgrade. You will get pretty much the same result by getting Slackware packages from the official package database and from LinuxPackages.
With Zenwalk, you already have a newer kernel without having to compile it yourself. But then, that is probably only an advantageif you are a laptop user.
