lynx mouse scrolling?

Hi! the reason i`m asking this here at Slackware forum is that i remember during Slackware install there was a point where they ask whether you wanted mouse enabled for the console or not ( i always said no because it was supposed to be buggy!). what i would like to ask is wheter there`s a way to enable the mouse for console use after install and if that would affect lynx browsing too (i mean could i scroll text and normally click topics after i enable it?). I searched this topic but i found nothing on this particular subject (i guess there isn`t any) .The reason i`m trying to use it is that i can actually surf the web while downloading music with no trouble (i can`t do this with any other browser (konqueror, mozilla, galeon, netscape) , they take too much time when loading ,and most of the times they just refuse to. Hope there is someone that already tried or actually uses lynx (heard it`s almost a museum stuff) to tell me something about . thanks for any help

I don't think you'll be able to scroll with a mouse in lynx....I don't even think that lynx will scroll without a mouse, I think it's just one page at a time. For general purpose mouse work in a console use GPM.
