esael, Linux command line doesn't accept spaces. You can view the file with * wildcard, but if you try to vi my file.txt. You can't. Use a GUI like StarOffice to open and print.
This migth be a dumb question, but I haven't found the answer, even after going through the documentation. How do I kill or stop a print job. I do a lpq -L to see all my jobs. But how do I kill them? I have a stalled job and its preventing me from using the printer
long: look up the manpage of a tool you used, at the bottom under SEE ALSO there are is a list of programms related to the current tool, man lpq for example lists cancel, lp, lpr, lprm, lpstat.
By using the respective man pages you can easily find out what to use when.
Thanks you guys, I've been trying to set up my printer under Slack for some time. I've even tried apsfilter before. This time I was finally able to get it going.
