Long lag between clicking the Application Launcher icon and the launcher appearing in KDE

I'm running current from 3/27. I've set up the polkitd user and group, both with ID 87.

Those users should've been set up automatically when you installed the a/etc-14.2-x86_64-6.txz package from 26 MAR. Have you checked your configs?
