Linux WEP key generator

My wireless router uses 128 bit WEP keys. I found a web site that will generate random WEP keys for you months ago and lost the address. I'd rather generate a key on my own pc for security reasons, though. Is there a WEP key generator for Linux?

https://wireless.org.au/~jhecker/wepgen/ - Scroll down to "Doing it yourself" for a shell script you can run on Linux.

To be really secure though, don't use WEP. It's too easily cracked. Use WPA if possible (there are other means as well of securing wireless connections you can look into as well).

I like that-random and not based on a crackable phrase! I'd like to use WPA, but the wireless router that Verizon provided me with only uses WEP. I don't use the wireless feature much because of that and have found that my neighbor wants to share his network with the neighborhood. So my laptop surfs on their signal-if they move, though, I want to know how to generate my own keys so I can change the keys often.
