libXfixes.so.3: cannot open shared object file


I got this error whener i run firefox . I think must be a kde library but im not sure


Code:
root@a:/home/props/Desktop# firefox
/usr/lib/firefox-1.0.4/firefox-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libXfixes.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any help will be really appreciated

Acording to Slackware's Package Browser (http://www.slackware.com/pb) it's part of the x11 package: http://www.slackware.com/pb/searchfi...libxfixes&w=on
What version of Slackware do you have? Are you using XFree86?

Cool, so do you have the file listed in the package browser? If not, try reinstalling the package.

I upgraded the package .
