Thank you all for trying to remember this for the next few times
Well - Excuse Me!!
Didier Spaier was commenting on the neverending string of entries in the Slackware-Current changelog, which AFAICT is the topic of this thread. And some of us tried to give explanations for what's going on. Still on-topic.
If you prefer this thread to be read-only, why don't you create an LQ blog entry and simply disable commenting. Just a thought.

I check the Xfce site almost daily and the answer to your question is pretty simple and,
that is, there isn't much going on with Xfce. Most days the only activity is translation updates. There hasn't been a new release of Xfce since 22 December of last year and I'm not a fan of 4.16. Nothing there worth updating since the previous release, IMHO.
Each to their own.

I asked on the requests thread that the rest of the kde projects be added https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ml#post6301099
maybe Pat will see it and add them, since we lost kwickshow and gwenview just seems slow I was looking for a decent image viewer. plus it would just seem more "complete" having everything they list on the XFCE official site.
Distribution: Slackware64-current with "True Multilib" and KDE4Town.

Regarding image viewers, FWIW, XnView MP (multi-platform) is, IMHO, better than any other image viewer for Linux I've found (to date). https://www.xnview.com/en/xnviewmp/
It is free for personal use and has so many built-in editing functions it is rarely necessary to fire up The Gimp. There is a SlackBuild on .Sbo, http://slackbuilds.org/repository/14...?search=xnview

d/slacktrack-2.22-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
Test makepkg's response to the package name as part of the pre-build
sanity checks. This catches malformed package names and extension types.
Thanks to Eduard Rozenberg for the suggestion.
Thanks to Stuart Winter.
