kylix 2 on Slackware 8.1

Installed fine but then when I tried to run it nothing happens, so I ran it from the Konsole to see what errors there were and got the following:

LC_ALL is set to POSIX. Can't start Kylix.

Anyone know what this is and succeeded in getting around it, have searched under google but get a lot of conflicting information and mostly for kylix 1 not 2 and older (6+7) versions of slackware.

Ahh just fixed it almost straight after posting here, sorry about that.

If anyone else though is getting a similar problem, it is really easy to fix (ignore those huge complicated instructions you can find about getting kylix working on slackware) Just use these two commands from the konsole:

export LANG=en_US
export LC_ALL=en_US
