Kernel install

How can I install "linux-kernel-2.6.11.8-i486-4.tgz" if "linux-kernel-2.6.11.4-i486.tgz" allready install?

Do I need to do an "upgradepkg linux-kernel-2.6.11.8-i486-4.tgz" or how do I do it?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks Jack

`upgradepkg` should do it since you're upgrading the package to a newer version. I've never upgraded the kernel that way though (I've only compiled my own from scratch) so I can't guarantee what'll happen.
