KDE needs kdeinit

Hi,
I'm new to slackware. Tried to find an answer on the forum.

Here's my first problem. I installed Zipslack on my hd (PII-350,128mB)
Works perfect. Installed Xfree86. Looked for the basic kde stuff and installed it. That didn't work, so I stopped thinking and installed the complete /x and /kde stuff on my Zipslack. installpkg etc. works perfect.
But when starting startx I get a nice gray screen with a window in the upper left corner telling me that kdeinit is missing.
Any idea?

Second problem. I entered the slackware community because slackware is needed to compile for the Freesco distro. First project: nessus
Downloaded the necessary nessus stuff and installed gcc, make etc.
When running sh install-nessus.sh I get an error telling me that gcc cannot create an executable.
Seemes I missed something, but what?
Again, any idea?

tia, strampke
