Lightbulb Kalarm issues upon log in and in use.

Upon starting it or log in I receive:
"Alarms cannot be created or updated, because no writable active alarm calendar is enabled. To fix this, use View -> Show Calendars or change statuses. OK

then:
Alrms are configured to be archived, but this is not possible because no archived alarm calandar is set as default. TO fix this, use VIew -> Show Calanders, select an archied alarms calendar, and check Use as Default for Archived Alarms. OK

What is going on, how can I addrress this and how can I SET AN ALARM FOR 5:00 AM?

I had this exact same problem. I have it sort of working, but can't remember exactly what any one thing it was I did. It was an *extreme* PITA, because kalarm in the past was very, very helpful and important for me to be able to use. I hope someone can show up with the fix for this problem.

I also had this issue -- I had been using it in slackware64-current for 1-2 years -- i had been baking my own bread the last year so it came in very handy for reminding me I had loaves of bread in the oven.

It broke during one of the upgrades possibly to Plasma 5.23 and was broken in a clean install of both slackware64-current in January of this year and clean installs of slackware64 15.0

Since I keep rsync'ed backups for several months I determined there was differences in the the user's kalarm setup files. For the life of me i forgot what the parameters were that were either missing or were changed. By updating the user files in the directory, everything returned to normal & functionality.

I have broken and fixed files. Give me a day and I will find it in my records.

I will post it here sometime this weekend when I have the opportunity.
