Installing GNU-PSPP in Slackware-14

I recently installed full Slackware-14 and it is working very well. I was, however, surprised to find that a GNU software PSPP (http://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/) does not install properly in full Slackware-14. It did not run and ldd command found following missing library files:
Code:

root@slack:/home/abcd/Downloads# ldd /usr/bin/pspp | grep "not found"
        libreadline.so.6 => not found
        libpq.so.5 => not found
        libtinfo.so.5 => not found
        libgsl.so.0 => not found
        libgslcblas.so.0 => not found
        libgsl.so.0 => not found
        libgslcblas.so.0 => not found
        libpq.so.5 => not found
        libgslcblas.so.0 => not found
root@slack:/home/abcd/Downloads#
What is the best way to install PSPP in Slackware?

Download sbopkg (http://www.sbopkg.org/) or install the "plotutils" from http://www.slackbuilds.org - then compile pspp manually or even create your own SlackBuild script for it. Infos about how to to this in case you are not familiar with it: http://docs.slackware.com/howtos:sla...ing_software?s[]=source . In the linked example you would usually (on Slackware) use "configure --prefix=/usr" and eventually "configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64" on Slackware64. configure should tell you if there are any dependencies missing, that you could hunt down on http://www.slackbuilds.org

Looking at the list of missing library files:
libreadline.so.6 - This is later than the libreadline.so.5.2 in Slackware. Maybe a symlink would work.
libpq.so.5 - This an interface to Postgres databases. Perhaps you do not need it.
libtinfo.so.5 - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...so-5-a-726824/
libgsl.so.0 and
libgslcblas.so.0 - Supplied by the GSL package from SlackBuilds.org
