Help installing Racket on Slackware?

I am running Slackware64-current and need to install Racket (a Scheme implementation). They have a bunch of Linux packages available, but none for Slackware. I am uncertain how to get this installed on on Slack, and could use some help.

I looked around on Google, but found very few references for this, and none that I could make sense of. Thanks in advance for any help!

I just downloaded racket-5.3.6-src-unix.tgz. The src/README file explains how to build on Linux.

If you want to prepare a Slackware package (which I suggest over directly invoking ./configure;make;make install), there are tons of tutorials/HOWTOs out there.

Thanks, I didn't know the Unix source one would work on Linux. All the other ones were scripts labeled for different Linux distributions, and I thought I would have to convert them to Slackware.

I will give it a go!
