I have set up mine native locale to work with Linux partitions, but not FAT32, so I want to mount it supporting koi8-r charset. Here is my fstab ( I think I have putted one line improperly ):
/dev/hda3 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hda2 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
/dev/hda5 /mnt/win vfat defaults 1 0 iocharset=koi8-r,codepage=866,showexec
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0

Where should I put 'iocharset=koi8-r,codepage=866,showexec' so this option could work?

I the syntax should be:

/dev/hda5 /mnt/win vfat iocharset=koi8-r,codepage=866,showexec 1 0

I don't wanna sound stupid but, what's the iocharset=koi8-r,codepage=866,showexec 1 0 for?

The way I have it for a FAT32 prrtition is

/dev/hdb1 /home/data vfat auto,users,rw 0 2

all the options are desribed in the manpage for "mount" it's pretty logical when you readup up a little bit
