Enable Gnome support in Windowmaker post-facto?

I am trying to make wmpager work as it should in Slack 10.2's Windowmaker. As we all likely know, 10.2 lacks Gnome, and perhaps not cooincidentally, my favorite window manager no longer seems to favor any app that relies on anything Gnome-ish. Pertinent to this case, wmpager requires desktop switching signals that a Gnome-support enabled WM sends, and mine isn't.

Long question short: can I enable Gnome support in Windowmaker without going through the painfull and likely perilous process of recompiling Windowmaker?

Try this:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/...2.0-i486-1.tgz

This is a patched version of WindowMaker -the patches are from the developers and close contributors to the project. The main cool thing is that this WindowMaker has a history for the 'run' box. Gnome and KDE are both enabled, but I don't know that they will work as you expect since I haven't tried them.

This program was configured with these options: --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc/X11 --enable-gnome --enable-kde --enable-usermenu --with-gnustepdir=/usr/lib/GNUstep/Applications"
If you try it please let me know if it works, or if there are problems.

Installing this package had no discernable effect on my system. Everything is as it was.

Probably a problem with wmpager. Some code has changed in Wmaker 0.92 which requires minor rewrite of many DOCK apps.

Thanks anyway. I've decided to revert back to 10. 10.2 has a few irritating little quirks I can't seem to nail down.
