Don't get me wrong, it can probably get a patch to work with compatibility, but after a few days of searching, one doesn't exist. It's unfortunate, but this has been the case with many projects stemming from the old HAL project.
I have a suggestion to add. Not sure if sending an email to Pat would be the way to go. It appears that dconf-editor is now a separate package and it does not build from the standard dconf. So, is it possible to add this package to current? Especially given that no longer have dconf-editor on the latest -current release. Thank you!
Try PMing Patrick (volkerdi), Eric (AlienBOB), and Robby (rworkman) on the issue. Usually one will respond to you, otherwise post it here, URL of source included, and Robby will send it on it's way.
You could always submit it as an add-on via SlackBuilds.org. Lots of stuff starts there, and eventually finds it's way back into Slackware on occasion.

PMing on this forum won't help for me since I will not respond to PM's. All of us read the forum posts, including this one. If Pat thinks adding dconf-editor is a good thing, he'll do it.
LibRaw-0.17.0 is out. Compared to LibRaw-0.16.0 in -current, it fixes a CERT advisory and adds support for >200 new camera models.
It builds ok with the existing -current SlackBuild. I think the only package in -current that would need a rebuild is kdegraphics:libkdcraw, so I've rebuilt that, and now gwenview can display sample images from some of the new camera models thanks to http://www.rawsamples.ch
Christoph Willing and WillySR have checked applications in SBo that use LibRaw, and the only problem found was with openimageio, for which Christoph made a fix, submitted it upstream and had it accepted within just a few hours so we seem to be good to go
Thanks ... and sorry if it turns out to be a turkey
Rationale: it's the one and only terminal emulator under X that is able to properly display bidirectional text (through fribidi , already included in Slackware), as needed e.g. by Arabic, Hebrew or Persian, e.g. for display of man pages. Ideographic languages (CJK) are also properly rendered and it can make use of various input methods.
It is actively maintained.
It is available @ slackuilds.org but it would be nice for Middle East and East Asian Slackware users to get an adapted terminal out of the box. A basic build has no extra dependencies.

OpenSSH 7.1p1 has been released, and compiles and runs fine with the slackbuild in -current. There are some security fixes between 6.7p1 (the version currently in 14.1) and 7.1p1, although perhaps none serious enough to warrant a backport of 7.1 to 14.1.
Interesting notes from the changelog:
Code:
Future deprecation notice
=========================
We plan on retiring more legacy cryptography in the next release
including:
* Refusing all RSA keys smaller than 1024 bits (the current minimum
is 768 bits)
* Several ciphers will be disabled by default: blowfish-cbc,
cast128-cbc, all arcfour variants and the rijndael-cbc aliases
for AES.
* MD5-based HMAC algorithms will be disabled by default.
This list reflects our current intentions, but please check the final
release notes for OpenSSH 7.2 when it is released.
