Custom kernel, slackpkg upgrade-all

Hi, I just created my own custom kernel in slackware 13.37 32bit, mostly for +4gb ram support. First time I use my own custom kernel though.

For reference, this is the guide I used:
http://alien.slackbook.org/dokuwiki/...kernelbuilding

My question is, can I safetly upgrade my system using 'slackpkg upgrade-all' with a custom kernel?

Thanks

You can protect your custom kernel by blacklisting the kernel related packages in /etc/slackpkg/blacklist. The comments are self explanatory.
