Creating a boot image for a specific Slackware setup

I was wondering if there is an easy way to create a bootable disc that will install a customized Slackware install.

I mean like, if I configure a certain install on a computer with exactly the programs and system configuration I want, how can I take this install and make it into an ISO that I can burn to disc and install on multiple workstations?

I looked online but couldn't find anything explaining how to do exactly what I'm wanting

Simply tar the files from the system you want to replicate and add it to your boot media. This is how I do my system builds:
1. Boot to slack
2. Partition disk, create file systems and mount
3. Untar system image
4. chroot and run lilo
5. done

I use dd to create images of disks on customized installs where I wish to be able to clone the drive. The downsides are that the target drive needs to have the same geometry as the source drive (not strictly required -- there are workarounds, but identical geometries simplifies things), and that a restoration involves booting the target machine with an installation cd so the OS is in ram and the target disk is unencumbered and can be clobbered.

You may wish to try the classic CUSS approach. Even if it's not exactly what you're looking for it will probably give you suggestions on how to proceed.
