Connecting and configuring NEUROS OSD on a PC

I am currently using slackware 12.2 with kernal 2.6.I actually wana connect my Neuros OSD with my PC (Intel C2D) but unfortunately i coundn't find a way to connect and configure the device with the PC.

it detects the device but nothing happens as i can't see the device functioning.furthermore supplying the command dmesg |grep sd gives

I could be wrong, but the Neuros OSD is a multimedia player that connects to your TV. The USB port is to connect a USB mass storage device -external hard drive, non MTP PMP-

It does record as well, but to one of the card slots, unless they've updated the firmware and allowed recording across the network. The Neuros does support CIFS/Samba and NFS (may need firmware update).

What were you wanting to connect the Neuros to the PC for?

i do agree with u but i m doing a project in which i m going to embed USB camera support to neuros OSD.For that i need it connect to PC so that i can made necessary changes in its source and then can see the effects.thats why i want to connect it to the PC

Check out their forums. They have a hacking section. Directions to connect the device should be there.
