CONFIG_SCHED_AUTOGROUP, how to enable?

Had some output from a few games stating that "autogroup scheduling is not enabled in your kernel, so falling back to nice"; however Slackware seems to have this enabled in config-generic-5.18.2.x64:
Code:
CONFIG_SCHED_AUTOGROUP=y
Looking online i see this proc value mentioned to check/toggle it:
Code:
/proc/sys/kernel/sched_autogroup_enabled
However;
Code:
root@darkstar:/usr/src/linux-5.18.2# cat /proc/sys/kernel/sched_autogroup_enabled
cat: /proc/sys/kernel/sched_autogroup_enabled: No such file or directory
How can i enable this?

Code:
cat /proc/sys/kernel/sched_autogroup_enabled

Strange, hmm... i just saw this:
https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/1653907...t2@tip-bot2/T/

Apparently there's a bug in recent kernels. Are you on 5.18.3 ? I'm about to upgrade and see if this fixes it.

EDIT: Updated to 5.18.3, proc file still isn't there...

That fix is in the stable queue for 5.18.4.

That's good to know thanks. I'll mark this as solved for now.

EDIT:
Working again as of 5.18.5
Code:
> $ cat /proc/sys/kernel/sched_autogroup_enabled
