Chromium Passwords & Slackware64-Current

Chromium-ungoogled-123.0612 is installed here on current. It won't remember logins or passwords, which is a pain.

My current is a squeaky clean install, clean / & home. But I have put selected data files back to prevent insanity. I can save logins & passwords in other browsers(Brave, firefox). I do have gnome keyrings installed, but I do run Mate as a desktop but gnome-keyrings-d is running. I installed with setup2hd from a Mate LiveSlak and ran 'upgradepkg' with the latest iso and the Mate packages on slackware.uk.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, gaucho. Alien Bob has obviously suffered, and I got sick of reading and came up for air. He writes and doesn't stop. I don't sync browsers at all. I simply want that when I put a password in and tell it to save the user/pass, it will recall the user/pass. Instead, it gets amnesia every time. Brave does it, and I'm living there atm
