Cannot convert string "%s" to type %s

i installed again netscape and flash plugin but this time i did it as root (i think after i install everything i wont doing anymore dangerous things so i plan to continue as a root user)anyways ,got this at the end of the plugin install:
bash-2.05# netscape &
[1] 1544
bash-2.05# Warning: This program is an suid-root program or is being run by the root user.
The full text of the error or warning message cannot be safely formatted
in this environment. You may get a more descriptive message by running the
program as a non-root user or by removing the suid bit on the executable.
Warning: Cannot convert string "%s" to type %s

what does it mean?and how can i finish the install?
thanks
