Cannot access inet using ndiswrapper in slack 10.2

Well I installed the Dell drivers for Windows XP(Dell Wireless 1370 I believe) and they seem to be loading fine. I moved on to configuring my connection. Now, I follow the directions here ( http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...icle&artid=396 ) and am able to ping local addresses such as my server and the router itself, but I am unnable to connect or ping any outside address.

I should also note that when I check to see clients through my router configuration page, my laptop and the MAC address that corresponds to it are displayed with the correct IP.

i'm going to assume this was a typo...

can you please post the output of the following commands (you have to be root for most of these):

ifconfig
iwconfig <- (only if we're talking about wireless)
route
route -n

and are you behind a firewall? if so, what are the policies?

It wasn't a typo, I used the files form the Dell provided drivers. I had forgotten that I edited one of the conf files previously and it was messing with my settings tonight. Everything is working fine, now. Posting this from my laptop in fact.
