can't type capital F on console
Hi,
This is a very weird problem, as the subject says, I can't type a capital F. The system just beeps (through the pc squeeker)
This problem only occurs in the console (and in xterm, rxvt if in X). All other keys work fine, and inside applications like firefox etc I can type the F fine.
I just installed slack 10 yesterday on a (basically) clean system. I removed all old config files and programs, only kept my home directory.
This occurs with both root and everyday user.
I've tried looking in /etc/inputrc, and also tried removing ~/.bashrc incase it was either of those but no help.
Also weird is if I paste into the console using a middle mouse click, where a capital F occurs it beeps to me too. The only way to get the F is if it is in a filename I can use tab completion to get there.
This is very strange and I'd love to solve it, I've run out of ideas though. Sometimes ya just HAVE to type an F.
Thanks.
