I found a post from a few years ago that implies I may be able to ignore the messages. I'll have to do some testing and see if this really is a problem. Perhaps this should be put on hold for now as it will take a while for me to complete the tests.

I don't have those messages launching pulseview from the console but I'm not using sudo to launch it: is there any particular reason why you are using sudo? maybe you should change the permissions of the device you are trying to use (for example with a custom udev rule) instead of launching the program as root.

but I never used pulseview so maybe you can have a better help on this on the official sigrok channels

Ponce, I've always run it using sudo so that I can access the logic analyzer and never had this problem. I know nothing about setting up udev rules. I'll try the official support channel as you suggested.
