call to lnusertemp

I've upgraded to 13.1 from 13.0 but can't startx. I get this error;
'call to lnusertemp failed (temporary directories full?)'
When I ctl-alt-backspace there are numerous messages including these two;
'/usr/bin/kde4-config: symbol lookup error:/user/lib/libkdecore.so.5:
undefined symbol: _zn9qlistdatadetach3ev.
and
startkde: error: could not locate lnusertemp in /usr/bin/startkde: line
302::command not found.

Linux 13.0 worked OK right out of the "box" so I don't understand why this version has this problem. Was something changed from 13.0 to 13.1?

What am I missing here?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Looks like you didn't upgrade properly - did you follow UPGRADE.TXT?

Were you using vbatts' KDE 4.3.0 packages with Slackware 13.0?
Did you remove kdelibs-experimental?

To Sahko- The answer to your questions is 1. no & 2. no.

To RWorkman- I used slackware-current to upgrade from 13.0 to 13.1. And followed upgrade.txt, mostly. Was there something in particular that I should have done? I even used the upgradeconfig script to upgrade the .new config files. Works great!
Although KDE won't start, XFCE does. But no browser will work.

Ciao

There are some files on the system that are out of sync with what's supposed to be (or not be) there. That's about the best I can give at the moment.

Snap ...

When I did exactly the same thing I ended up replacing the whole system with the clone I keep on an other partition... LOL
