Talking Ahh My Slack Is Driving Me Crazy!

This seems to be a simple question. When i installed slackware 8.1 there was a setting that they asked me to sent upon install about what extras do you want KDE3 to do and i set it to run with all the extras. Little did i know that it plays sounds for everything. HOW DO I STOP MY KDE3 FROM PLAY SOUND BITES FOR EVERYTHING I DO?
