grub Error 6:Mismatched o corrupt version of stage1/stage 2
after upgrading kernel to .128 I would just get dropped to grub console upon reboot. On one of the boxes I've fix it by doing
setup (hd0)
However, on the second box when I do the same I get the error above.
Hardware and software is identical on both boxes So I'm at loss as to
what is wrong. When I try to manuall enter:
root(hd)<ENTER>
kernel /path/to/kernel root=/path/to/root
boot<ENTER>
the system starts to boot but then it gets to kernel panic.
