Wireless wusb54g v2 configration for puppy

Hello everyone. This is my first post, and I am new to linux too.
I am unable to install wireless wusb54g adaptor on puppy linux. I burned latest version 3.01 and booted from live cd. Also tried to use its windows driver, it loads but there is no interface. No communication with router. The adaptor works fine with windows xp.
Any ideas? thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. You mean does it show up in the list of drivers? No. It does not show up either. I have tried all drivers in the list using automatic but without any success. It is not possible for me to use a wired line, (odd location of my pc in the building) that works fine with puppy. My adaptor chipset as I searched is prism GT. Its a linksys wusb54g v2. My problem is not internet access but adaptor's unability to establish connection with router.

I just a ssume since mentioning using windows inf driver you were using ndiswrapper module. I never used puppy so I don;t know what tools you are using to configure the nic. I would after you have ndiswrapper inf driver defined and the ndiswrapper module loaded that running the command above would tell if the nic is using that inf driver or some other module has taking control of the nic.
