Unhappy Broken MBR using Puppy Linux part. and Windows 7 part.

Hi forum goers,

I tried a full Puppy linux installation last night on a ext2 partition of a W7 netbook.
It would not boot said Puppy linux partition, but the Windows exe Puppy Linux on the Windows partition or windows itself.
Tried Grub4Dos and Grub options and now I receive the error:

Quote:
GRUB Loading stage1.5.

GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 15
I am not well versed in Linux and feel there must be an easy way to deal with this.

This error is returned if GRUB was expecting to read a numbur and encountered bad data.

There is a known bug in the grubconfig script of current wary-5.5 . There should be a service pack out that should fix it ( if that Pup* is a Wary-5.5) :

Grub bootloader config (see System menu) was broken.

Thanks Karl,

Fixed the MBR with windows recovery then used the Neogrub setting in EasyBCD to create a link into Puppy.
