Morning, all.
Some of us over at Murga-Linux have been messing about with
Cinelerra recently, prompted by queries from one particular member from South Africa. He works for a local TV station, editing video footage, and re-cycling old hardware the parent company has deemed unfit for further use. His chosen OS to resurrect these machines is Puppy, and his preferred video editor is Cinelerra.
He's not happy with OpenShot or KdenLive.....
I've re-packaged a few of the recent releases
for Puppy. There's a few different versions available.
a)
4.2. This is quite an old version (from 2010), but it works in absolutely
every 32-bit Pup I've thrown it at. Which for Pup, is quite remarkable; whoever originally compiled this one knew what they were doing.
b)
5.0. This one requires a glibc of >=
2.17. It works in Upup Raring, Tahr 6.05, Xenialpup 7081.....to name but a few. Thanks to Mikeslr for tracking this one down.
c)
5.1. This was the very last 32-bit release. It requires a glibc of >=
2.22. As such, it will only work with Xenialpup and peebee's LXPupSC. Thanks for this one go to Phil himself in Sth. Africa.
d)
6.0. This one is the current 64-bit release, so will only work with Tahr64 and Slacko64.....and derivatives. It should also work with Xenialpup64 7084.
These can all be found in the 'Cinelerra' folder at the MediaFire a/c in my sig.
Enjoy.
Mike.
