Question Porting C++ Project from Windows to Linux??

Hi All,
I am working on a C++(No MFC used) project. It runs perfectly on Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 compiler. But i want to port whole project to Linux. I tried to compile my project on Anjuta IDE, but i am not able to compile it successfully, Compiler gives lots of errors related to Usr/c++/3.2/limits..
What shall i do. Or please suggest some porting tips????
