rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1 ??

Every now and then, when installing packages, I'll get something like this complaining about rpmlib not being good enough.

Code:
[root@zero netmanw00t]# urpmi kpackage
Some package requested cannot be installed:
kdeadmin-3.2-5mdk.i586 (due to unsatisfied rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1)
kdeadmin-kpackage-3.2-5mdk.i586 (due to missing kdeadmin-3.2-5mdk.i586) (Y/n)
I have no idea how to upgrade rpmlib, and even the fact that it is not already high enough amazes me. I'm using an almost new Mandrake 10.0 installation on this particular machine and using RPMs for said distro too.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

i think that's a bad online update source
those versions of rpm were way before mandrake even existed
i don't know how mandrake works but try to use another repository
