Question Problem in loading ehci-hcd driver

Hi

I am new to Linux. I want to load a dirver ehci-hcd for USB2.0 Compatibility.
I am using Read Had Linux 9 Kernel version 2.4.20-8.

when I issue command 'modprobe ehci-hcd` following error messages are printed by Linux.

/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/usb/hcd/ehci-hcd.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/usb/hcd/ehci-hcd.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/usb/hcd/ehci-hcd.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/usb/hcd/ehci-hcd.o: insmod ehci-hcd failed

Please help me out.
Thanks in Advance
