no java while using firefox on fedora core 3


I was trying out my fresh installation of vnc when firefox told me to install the java plugin. It said FF needs to be restarted for it to work but when i restarted FF it install the java plugin again. Keeps doing it over and over agin but i do have java cos i use azereus which is java based and it works fine.

Any ideas

in your .mozilla/plugins directory, you should have a link to libjavaplugin_oji.so

use locate or find to locate your libjavaplugin_oji.so, then make a symbolic link to your mozilla plugins directory.
