Question Logout/shutdown/reboot button misconfigured on GNOME

Hi people, I'm using Debian Etch. Some weeks ago I did some upgrades (don't remember which packages) and I think for some reason apt-get removed some packages (I'm not sure about this point). Now, everytime I press the logout/shutdown/reboot button on Gnome I get a dialog box saying "Your session will be closed in 60 seconds". In this dialog box I have 3 options: "Change user", "Cancel" and "Exit" (logout); so if I want to reboot or shutdown the machine I have to press "Exit" to logout to GDM, and do it from GDM by pressing on "Actions". Before these upgrades I had the logout/reboot/shutdown functions in a single button.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue??

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I just realized there's a "Shutdown" button that allows me to shutdown or reboot the machine from Gnome, but when I press it I get I dialog box saying something like "The system will be automatically shutdown in 60 seconds" and I have 3 options there: "Reboot", "Cancel" and "Shutdown". is there a way to integrate all these functions on a single button without 60 seconds countdown, just like it was before??

I already tried removing all my Gnome configuration directories and created a new user but I'm still having the same problem. Does anyone know how to solve this issue??

Thanks in advance.
