Question keyboard acting strange while using xine in gnome

hello,

i've encountered a svery strange problem while using xine. currently i'm using gnome 2.6 on mandrake 10.0 CE. when i play a dvd i constantly get messages that some keyboard features have been activated (can't tell you the name in english, cause i'm using the dutch v ersion.) basicaly it sais that i've pressed the shift key five times so i've activated a keyboard feature. this is oifcourse very annoying since the message pops up in my screen all the time. i've tried deconnecting my keyboard, but that didn't help.

the problem might be older than today, since when i was using gnome 2.4 on mandrake 9.2 my computer was allways beeping (like an error beep) while playing dvd's.

i don't have any of these while playing dvd's with xine under icewm.

does anyone know what's going on?

greetz,

wimbo
