errno 256

I am trying to install Fedora Core 5 onto an empty HDD. I'm installing with Anaconda and after I set my password I get this message:
"Unable to read package metadata. This may be due to a missing repodata directory. Please ensure that your install tree has been correctly generated. Failure: repodata/repomd.xml from anaconda: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try." My only option is to exit the setup at this point. Can any one help me?

THNX

Are you doing a network install or using the five CD set?

Sounds like the CD might be hosed. Do you still have the ISO images you used to burn the CD's? If so, did you do an MD4SUM check before burning to ensure the download didn't corrupt anything? I would check the images first and make sure I had good stuff to start with.

Actually I was cursed with dial-up internet when I got the cd's. I actually bought them with a catalog from the bookstore. I don't think it is a cd issue but you never know.
