Question dualbooting rh9 and xp fat

i'm a recent newbie. i started using mandrake on my laptop and that was all fine until i wanted to dual boot it on my desktop and the ethernet card would freeze with mandrake. i want to work on rh9 anyways so i installed it and configured lilo... at least i thought i did it right. now windows only boots after my installation... i booted from the disk and it gives me an error. says that the disk is bad. i did this twice on two different disks. please help me.

install lilo or grub into MBR(Master Boot Record) and then add windows entry to it. then you can choose either rh9 or xp to boot.
......post the error that you are getting when you are booting from floppy..

To install grub to the mbr do this as root:

/usr/sbin/grub-install /dev/hda
