CUPS doesn't work


when i restart job at localhost:631, it showed the wrong message:
client-error-not-possible
now i can't print any paper, howto solve it?

Try as root, it may be a permissions problem, particularly if the job came from a remote machine.

Otherwise, pleas post more info about your setup.

I am using debian sarge and alway login as root. What information do i need provide?

Is there a reason that you always login as root?? This a really bad security risk, as well as the chance that you will do something stupid.

Is the printer local or networked? What user set the print job? Have you tried restarting the cups service?

the printer is used for local, how do i restart CUPS service? should restart???
