Azeureus (Bittorrent) - cant save files to fat32 drives o.O

When i choose a download location, i would like to save my files to a fat32 drive mounted at /mnt/media so that i can share them with Windows XP.
however azureus says operation not supported. but if i select a download location such as /home/nexx then it works fine.

This isnt much of a probem just annoying having to copy all the files accross when they've finished.

anybody had this problem?

As Azeureus is a java application (I use it myself) this could be because the Java Virtual Machine doesn't support writing to a non native filesystem.

Yeah, I think that is exactly the case. I was trying to get azureus to work on my machine, and could not figure it out. Once I read this thread, I tried saving the file to the linux fs instead of my fat drive and it worked immediately. Kind of annoying.
