All windows and programs open in very top left corner of screen

I am having a very strange annoyance occur in my fedora 6 installation, everytime I open up a program or window, or even when a message box comes up fedora opens it up in the very top left corner of the screen and I have to use the move controll the get the window out of that corner to use it every time very annoying, anyone have any Ideas on how to change this. It is also worthy to note that this does not happen when I am logged in as root only as my home user.

That's weird, I've never seen anything like that. Has it been like that from the start?

Anyway,you can unminimize windows by pressing Ctrl + Alt + D but that wouldn't make the changes permanent. You should probably look into gconfd or Systems Tools > Configuration Editor > apps.
