A very simple drawing program to do a very simple job.
Hi:
Does anyone know some very simple, primitive drawing program (GUI)? I only need to draw a couple of lines, never used programs of that sort and would not be willing to spend much time learning to use a sophisticated application.
If you're using slackware you already have Gimp installed. It is more than capable of drawing lines. Also the KDE software suite includes a drawing app called Krita. Give them a try before you go to the trouble of installing new software.

In just about any drawing program, you can learn to draw lines and simple shapes in about 5-10 minutes. If that's too long for you, then you might want to try a straightedge + a pencil. OTOH, if you will take the time to learn a program, you might discover that you want to do more than draw lines.
The drawing program in OpenOffice / LibreOffice is excellent---and easy to use.
Using gimp would make you to reconsider your words.
I use GIMP regularly---I find it very easy. But it is not a drawing program!!

I seriously doubt it. I never used a computer to do things other than programs.
??? I don't understand this in the context of this thread---my point was only that a good drawing program will do lots more that draw lines---if you would take a few minutes to learn it, then you might discover the value-----your choice.
