When I was on windows I had this GREAT app called IDM(Internet Download Manager) I was able to highlight many links on ANY web-page and click on download with IDM and they would BATCH download WITH my Rapidshare password SAVED. I can't seem to find ANYTHING like that for Linux
Distribution: Fedora (workstations), CentOS (servers), Arch, Mint, Ubuntu, and a few more.

Welcome to LQ!
I don't know about the password thing, but you should try D4X and ProZilla. There are other download managers I haven't used, but people claim they are good too. DownThemAll addon for Firefox also does great.

The password thing is VERY important.
It's laughable that this is not available on ANY Linux product.

I am not too sure you want to claim that you don't have that functionality in Linux products. Probably you are not looking where you should.
I'm just fully happy with Fx addon DownThemAll most of the time which is sufficient for my work. That's why I don't remember the names of DMs. However, there are dozens of download managers for Linux out there (including D4X and ProZilla), so why don't you go and check them out. It's bound to be there.
PS: I remember D4X had such a feature. I'm pretty positive about it.
