ntp client update time from windows ?


Hi all,
i've 2 server, one run win2k3 and one run linux FC6.
I config my windows server run time server. I can update time from linux by command.

Quote:
ntpdate 192.168.13.40
26 Feb 14:42:56 ntpdate[10960]: step time server 192.168.13.40 offset 1.687230 sec
But when i run
Quote:
ntptrace 192.168.13.40
222.255.13.40: timed out, nothing received
***Request timed out
What wrong i do? How can i fix this error ?

doesnt' really look like an error at all to me. if the ntp server doesn't tell you who it's parent is, there's nothign else to do... the primary job is the syncing itself, which seems just fine.
